The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from September through March.
National Championship Winning Coaching & Choreography Team
The Rochambeau Rebels will be providing multi-year National Championship winning coaches with decades of combined cheerleading and choreography experience. This award winning team have attended YCADA National Conferences for numerous years and understand how to help every child to shine. Our coaches provide a fun and comfortable space for cheerleaders and their families in which to grow and seize every opportunity. Choreography is done by in-house experts who personally get to know your child and can showcase their unique talents, ensuring that every cheerleader gets a turn in the spotlight!
Safe, Personalized Instruction
Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping cheerleaders improve their skills and reach their full potential. With personalized attention and tailored choreography, athletes of all skill levels will have a home with the Rochambeau Rebels. That means that our choreography will be customized to highlight and accomodate the skills of each unique cheerleader as well as a personal understanding of every athlete's abilities. Our coaches all have background checks and extensive training including CPR, first aid and concussion training.
World Class Opportunities
Joining the Rochambeau Rebels opens up a world of exciting opportunities to hone your athletic abilities, connect with like-minded athletes, and compete in world-class YCADA sanctioned events. The Rochambeau Rebels are recognized by YCADA, (Youth Cheer and Dance Alliance) which is a national non-profit organization that provides universal governance of Youth Cheer and Dance skill levels, scoring and educational guidelines. We will offer the incredible opportunity for cheerleaders to experience professionally run competitions with all of the glitz and glam elevated competitions offer. Practices
Practices will be held at Southbury Parks and Recreation at 561 Main Street South as well as Rochambeau Middle School in Southbury, Connecticut. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the location alternating between each facility by squad. Squads will be determined based on registrations.

Registration Information
We understand that youth sports can really add up. We are incredibly grateful to be working alongside Southbury Parks and Rec to offer an affordable yet professional program for all youth cheerleaders in the community.
Uniforms are included! The only attire costs to families are ancillary items such as shoes with a total cost of $50 or less.
While we have worked hard to keep costs low, we understand that registration fees can still be difficult. Families who may need financial assistance can connect directly with Southbury Social Services to see if assistance is available. This is completely confidential and the Rebels coaching team will never be made aware. Southbury Social Services can be reached at socialservices@southbury-ct.gov. If an application to social services is not approved or the family is not local to Southbury, families should apply for a Rochambeau Rebels scholarship. Scholarships are limited and not guaranteed.
